With the money raised from last years event and the quick sale of our custom minis we were able to purchase our 11th basket, add several new alternate tee-box locations, and many other more minor course improvements. We will again be asking for your support to help make this years event even better than last year. With the addition of our 12th hole we are looking to raise funds to purchase another basket. This years event will feature 2 rounds of 18 holes (11 permanent and 7 temp holes). There will be one round of the short tees and one round with our longer alternate tees mixed in. Event Type: Bring your own partner doubles. Event Date: Sunday October 16th Event Times: Registration/Check In: 8:30am – 9:30am ~ Player’s Meeting: 9:45am ~ Tee Off: 10:00am Entry Fees: $40*/Team (Field will be limited to 36 teams) Divisions: Pro, Advanced**, Intermediate, Ladies, Mixed Payout: 25% to the course / 75% to the players. (Pro’s play for cash, Am’s play for plastic) Included w/Entry: Because this is a fundraising event we will not be providing a player’s pack with entry. This year, I have been working as a PCA in an autistic support classroom and will continue my profession as a TSS. I became a student leader for Autism Speaks to help spread autism awareness and fund research. Being a new disc golfer, I have decided to host a disc golf tournament at Bear Creeks brand new course to learn more about the sport and raise money for autism. Reading the PDGA tournament manual just isn't enough to complete my understanding of the sport in order to host this tournament. I am looking for participants for this event as well as help hosting the event. I hope to find a volunteer to answer the questions I have about tournaments and possibly assist my very first fundraising project so that it is a huge success.
